Stakeholders meeting with DLAC -Plug money Judges:
Mohammad Waliul Islam, Honorable District Judge & Chairman Jhalakati District Legal Aid Committee said- PPJ Project suggested to take initiative to increase dissemination LAS related information through UZLAC & UPLAC among the community. As per dissection from today’s meeting, DALO will provide a letter to every UZLAC & UPLAC of the Jhalokathi district. So that UZLAC & UPLAC send quarterly reports regularly to DLAC. The court will take initiative to send the civil and family suits to DALO for ADR.
Public hearings on Legal Aid Issue:
Md, Jhakir Hossain, Business Man, Gabha Ramchandrapur Union, Jhalokathi Sadar, Jhalokathi Said that My father is a freedom fighter. Father was not alive. We live in Our grandfather’s house. My cousin recorded more succession land in their name from us. But we should get the same succussion land. We registered an application to our Union Parishad three months ago to solve this dispute. I am trying to collect all the necessary documents in this regard. I want support from DALO to solve this dispute.
